DIESEL FUEL TECHNICAL BULLETIN

Shellbourne Fuels - Fuel Catalyst

Shellbourne Fuels, for diesel applications, provides properties that substantially improve the performance quality, of good or mediocre fuels.  Adding our catalyst to fuels, provides major savings in fuel consumption and equipment maintenance. The Diesel Catalyst, improves combustion, so that toxic emissions released into the air, are greatly reduced.

                    Benefits...........

                   1. Keeps fuel and delivery systems in peak condition
                   2. Can be used in all diesel engines
                   3. No mechanical adjustments needed
                   4. Improves engine combustion and performance
                   5. Greatly reduces fuel consumption
                   6. Dramatically reduces smoke and polluting exhaust
                   7. Keeps injectors and filters clean
                   8. Adds more power to the engine
                   9. Eliminates carbon deposits
                  10. Reduces or eliminates black smoke
                  11. Reduces maintenance costs
                  12. Purges sludge and water buildup
                  13. Reduces noises and increases engine power

Continued Usage Of Our Diesel Catalyst

                 1. Keeps internal engine parts clean and improves equipment life.
                 2. Ensures a 50 - 90% reduction in black smoke and emissions, after treating two of approximately 90 liters or 20 gallons, sequentially, with Shellbourne Diesel Catalyst.

                  Product Summary

Shellbourne's Diesel Catalyst was designed in 2007 for usage in diesel fueled trucks, regardless of horsepower requirements, diesel cars, regardless of engine displacement, construction vehicles, tractors, small and large fishing vessels, locomotives and stationary land based diesel engines such as: generators/compactors/pumps and other diesel equipment. Our target and goal was to solve problems due to the loss of lubricity caused by sulphur reduction, and create additional torque as well as satisfy engine horsepower requirements.

Dosages:   1 oz. per 20 gallons or 31.25 ml. per 90 liters

DIESEL FUEL TECHNICAL  BULLETIN (2)
Shellbourne Fuels - Fuel Catalyst

By introducing the consumer market to Shellbourne Fuels Diesel Products, we are ensuring:

  • Ease of start-up
  • Low wear ( improving lubricity )
  • Sufficient power ( maximizing an engine’s torque )
  • Low temperature operability
  • Reduced engine noise
  • Long filter life ( stability )
  • Better fuel economy
  • Low emissions

Shellbourne’s position on diesel viscosity and lubricity:

Reductions in diesel viscosity and lubricity, can reduce the film thickness to a point where
metal to metal contact occurs.  Particles are trapped between surfaces, surfaces dent and
cracks occur.  The cracks spread even without more particulate damage, spalls occur as surface
material breaks away.  Lower sulphur levels often result in lighter and thinner diesel fuels.
Material worn from the spray holes, cannot be replaced.  Improved lubricity cannot restore worn
spray holes to their original state.  Improved lubricity can however reduce the rate of deterioration of injector spray holes and new injectors will stay new much longer, if fed with higher lubricity and cleaner diesel.  Shellbourne Diesel Catalyst will always improve a diesel fuels viscosity and lubricity.

Poor atomization, squirting and dribbling, cause premature failures, and these problems associated with liner glazing and excessive carbon build up around the rings, are the result of not treating fuels.  Our product eliminates these issues and with regular usage, these problems are not ever an issue.  Diesel engines will run on a great variety of fuels, but some fuels as a result of catalysts will give better performance, higher efficiency, improved reliability or lower maintenance costs than others.  Fuels and catalyst, must be selected based on overall operating costs, not just price, for example. Operators and senior management must select fuels and specific catalysts in order to optimize performance and control and reduce emissions.
